Host a Workshop or Retreat

An invitation for facilitators who want to gather with intention.

Chez Serendip collaborates with facilitators, teachers, and guides who are interested in hosting thoughtful workshops and retreats rooted in creativity, movement, land, and care.

This is a place for experiences that support mental health through art, embodiment, nature, and meaningful connection. We are most aligned with offerings that feel human-scaled, accessible, and grounded in presence rather than performance.

If you are carrying an idea for a workshop, class series, or retreat and are looking for a space that supports both the work and the people doing it, we would love to learn more.

The kind of offerings we host

We are best suited for experiences that invite participants into deeper engagement with themselves, the land, and one another.

These often include:

  • Movement, yoga, aerial, and somatic practices

  • Wellness and body-based work

  • Creative and artistic workshops

  • Music, sound, and voice-based offerings

  • Land-based, ecological, or educational gatherings

We welcome both emerging and established facilitators, as long as the offering feels aligned with the spirit of Chez Serendip.

Formats that work well here

Chez Serendip is designed for intimate, intentional gatherings rather than large-scale production.

We are especially well suited for:

  • Day-long workshops where guests attend for the day and stay elsewhere

  • Ongoing class or workshop series

  • Small retreats and multi-day experiences

Because overnight accommodations on the property are limited, multi-day workshops typically pair well with nearby partner hotels or off-site lodging. We are happy to discuss options during planning.

Our maximum capacity is under 100 participants, with parking limited to approximately 50 vehicles.

A collaborative approach

We do not operate on a one-size-fits-all model.

Instead, we work with facilitators to create arrangements that are mutually beneficial to:

  • The facilitator

  • Chez Serendip and the land

  • The guests or participants

This may include a range of rental, revenue share, or co-created pricing models. Our goal is to support accessibility, sustainability, and care for everyone involved.

Details are discussed after we learn more about your idea and intentions.

What we look for in collaborators

We value facilitators who:

  • Lead with integrity and care

  • Are attentive to participant safety and inclusion

  • Respect the land and the community context

  • Communicate clearly and thoughtfully

  • Are open to collaboration rather than extraction

You do not need to have everything figured out. We are more interested in alignment than perfection.

How the process works

If this feels like a good fit, the next step is to share your idea with us through the form below.

The form helps us understand:

  • Your background and facilitation experience

  • The workshop or retreat you are proposing

  • Ideal timing, group size, and format

  • The audience you hope to serve

Once submitted, we review inquiries thoughtfully and follow up if we feel there is potential alignment. From there, we move into conversation, planning, and booking.
