On a golden summer evening beneath the redwoods, we welcomed our very first guests to Blank Canvas—a night woven from vision, music, and connection.

The evening unfolded with a guided walk through the gardens, moments spent meeting the animals, and explorations of the historic grounds—pausing along the way for quiet reflection. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, guests gathered for a collaborative art experience led by Jay, then settled in under the trees for an unforgettable 13-song set by Sarah Lehman and Erik Lumaye, joined by Leif.
