Open Practice is a Tuesday night gathering devoted to creating music in real time. No cover songs. No set list. Just listening, risk, and collaboration.
Some nights turn into rap cyphers.
Some nights become rock grooves. Other nights unfold into layered percussion or spontaneous vocal choirs. Every time is different because it grows from the people in the room.
The Carriage Room sits beneath the historic 1928 Carriage House at Chez Serendip. It’s an intimate listening space where sound carries easily and musicians gather close to the music rather than performing on a stage.
House instruments include a 1902 Steinway piano, a drum kit, guitars, saxophone, and a collection of percussion. You’re welcome to bring your own instrument or a…
