Open Jam in the Lotus Dome: A Bi-Weekly Improvised Creative Gathering

We’re opening the Dome for a different kind of jam.

This one isn’t about performing. It’s about moving, listening, and building rhythm together. No amplified music. No stage. Just acoustic instruments, voices, bodies, and the natural resonance of the Dome holding it all.

If you have a drum, bring it. If you play guitar, bring it. Shakers, rattles, tambourines, a simple hand percussion instrument, your voice, your feet on the floor. If you don’t play anything at all, come anyway. Clapping, humming, swaying, or simply being present is part of the music.

The energy will lean more dance-forward than seated. We’ll start simply, find a groove, and let it build from there. There may be moments of call and response, layered harmonies, improvised chants, or a steady beat that carries us into movement. It will unfold based on who is in the room.
